ABOUT CLASSES AT CLEO'S
Beginning classes are exactly what you'd expect: they're open to anyone who knows absolutely nothing, or those who want a refresher if it's been a while. In beginning classes you'll learn the basics of knitting, crocheting, or weaving. In all beginning classes you learn the basic techniques in the class, then take your project home to finish at your own pace (or bring them back to work on them during one of our weekly classes).
Here are links to sign up for beginning knitting, beginning crochet, or beginning weaving.
Specialty classes are just that: special! These classes are often one-offs taught by guest teachers or by Cleo on a specific pattern or technique. They come in all crafts, lengths, and skill levels. Check out our class page here to browse our current offerings.
All our craft circles are open to all experience levels beyond those who know absolutely nothing. Yes, that includes all you "beginners" who only know one stitch; in my book that means you're intermediate! Congrats!
We've got a few different circles hosted in the shop, each with their own flair. And while all crafts & projects are welcome at each craft circle, each also have their own special offerings & focuses.
Every Friday from 5 to 7 PM. $5–15 sliding scale.
This weekly sip & stitch is more on the social side. You can bring whatever project you're working on and enjoy a complimentary drink (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic options are available). While this is the least formal of our weekly craft circles, I still offer any help or advice you might need!
Sign up for Happy Hour here. This event is capped at 15 people. You are welcome to drop in without signing up first but there's always a small chance we'll be full.
Every Saturday from 2 to 4 PM. $10–25 sliding scale per session, or book a whole project series at a discount.
This weekend craft circle follows *loose monthly project themes (AKA Make-Alongs)! Each month I pick a new type of project that we all work on together. This is a great event for making crafty friends and seeing each other's progress week by week! I offer guidance, tips, and tricks on your projects, and teach techniques specific to that month's project. Saturday Circle is inclusive of knitters and crocheters of all experience levels beyond absolute beginner.
*you are very welcome to bring any project you're working on to this event, even if it doesn't fit in with the month's theme!

Open Studio where you can learn the knitty gritty of some of the more complicated crafting techniques. This weekly workshop is for any and all help you may need in knitting, crocheting, or table loom weaving! It's a great place to learn something new, or practice a complicated technique around someone who can help you fix any mistakes.
