Crochet a Horned Balaclava

Come learn how to make a horned balaclava! Through creating this fun project, you will learn how to increase and decrease while crocheting in the round, create pattern shaping with crocheting, create crochet ribbing, and sew together multiple pieces to create a smooth seamed balaclava.

Pattern: Horned Balaclava Pattern by Emi Hana.

What you will learn: crocheting in a circle, increasing, decreasing, shaping with crochet, crocheting a rib, and seaming.

Required Experience: you should be very comfortable with the chain stitch and single crochet to approach this project. Knowing half double crochet is a plus, but not required!

Recommended Yarn and Tools: 330 yards of worsted weight yarn. We used 2 skeins of Kelbourne Woolen's Germantown in "Honey." You will also need a 6 mm / US J crochet hook, and a darning needle.
