Learn to crochet in the round and make a hat! This level two crochet project will teach you to crochet from the top-down, increase to create a circle, utilize the half double crochet stitch, and use stitch markers and measurements to create a perfectly fitted hat.

Required Experience: You should be very comfortable with the single crochet stitch before starting this project
Required Yarn and Tools. 200 yards of worsted weight yarn. You must use yarns that are at least 50% animal fiber (plant fiber & acrylic yarns are harder to work with, especially when learning) and only use a dark color if you have good eyesight. You will need a US 7 (4.5 mm), H (5 mm), or I (5.5 mm) hook, plus 7 stitch markers or safety pins.
