Andean yarns have been the stuff of legend for hundreds of years; Peruvian textiles made in the 15th and 16th century still hang in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (!!). So how have they lasted so long, and in such wonderful condition? That's likely due to the gorgeous quality of fiber able to be grown and cultivated in Peru's ideal climate.
Enter Amano Yarns, who, inspired by the history and nature of Peru, bring you some of the softest and strongest Andean yarns available on the market today.
Sami is a Fingering-to-Sport weight yarn made from 100% Organic Peruvian Pima cotton, famed for its softness and strength. It's fine enough to compliment your lacy summer accessories and strong enough for elaborate blankets and housewares.
