Our Make-Alongs & Craft Circles are lightly guided group events where everyone is making a similar project. Attendees must feel confident making their project mostly on their own. A host will be present to answer questions & offer some help. For more in-depth instruction, book a class with Cleo here!
Are you ready for sweater season? It's time to start those sweaters that you want to be able to wear when it starts to get cold! Join us for this six week make-along and make some crafty sweater friends.
This is a totally open-ended sweater make-along so you can make whatever sweater pattern you want. Knitters and crocheters are both welcome!
This make-along is for people who feel mostly confident about making a sweater on their own. Cloe will be available for questions & light instruction at each session. If you have never made a sweater and want to learn how, we suggest you sign up for one of Cleo's Sweater Workshop packages here! You can take those classes concurrently with this make-along to learn as you go.
You can come to all the make-along sessions or just drop in for a couple of them. You can also stay for the whole 2 hours, or stop in for however long you want during each session!
We prefer that you purchase your materials for your sweater from our shop, but it's not a requirement!
All make-along attendees will receive guidance on selecting the right type and amount of materials for their chosen pattern whenever they start (if they need it).
Every session's ticket includes $5 off your first drink at our cafe!
This is a great way to meet new crafty friends and have some dedicated time each week to work on your sweater project. We'd love to have you!
Class & Event Policies
Photography
When you attend any event at our shop you agree to be recorded and photographed during the event. If you would like to request that your face, hands, or body not be in any photos or videos that we share on social media please send an email requesting so any time prior to the start time of the class to hello@cleosyarnshop.com. You may still be recorded or photographed during the class but we will respect your request that the videos or images of you not be shared online.
Cancellations
We are happy to offer you a refund or store credit for any event sign up as long as you give us notice at least 48 hours before the start time of the first session.
In order to pay our hosts & teachers for their time & effort, we cannot offer refunds or store credit for any late cancellations. However, if the situation was out of your control and you want to come to another class instead, we can sign you up for a future class using our Scholarship Fund which is available to everyone (read more about our Scholarship Fund below).
Many of our classes have a minimum number of sign ups required to run. If a class doesn't get the required number of sign ups to run and we decide to cancel or post-pone the class we will notify those who did sign up via email between 24–48 hours before the class's start time and offer them a seat in the next class, a refund, or store credit.
