Broke in half.
I've been following Chloe's shop for the past few months, and I'm genuinely delighted to have found this community. What they offer goes beyond yarn — it's an experience, and I'd definitely encourage you to check them out.
As for the needles: I'm still a newbie, so I can't speak to the finer technical details. The one hiccup I've run into is with more delicate yarns — they tend to bunch up in the middle, right where the numeric size is stamped on the metal.
Using for my first socks on DPNs. Good length and smooth surface. Just enough grab to not lose my stitches, but not too sticky that it’s hard to knit. Good for a beginner I think!

"Don't sit on them," she said. I've never broken any needles (in 40 years), but when I bought the DPN set of these needles locally, I broke one of the size 0 with the first project.
