Please join us for a very special make-along hosted by our very own Rosie (@rosie.makesthings)! During this make-along, Rosie will walk you through how to begin your Rosie hood in a relaxed, group setting. This is an intermediate-friendly and incredibly approachable pattern meant to be customized to your desire. Think like the Sophie Hood, but cuter and crocheted! Previous crochet experience is needed. To top it off, 50% of the proceeds of all ticket sales will go to NYC Migrant Solidarity.
Previous crochet experience required:
Must know how to chain, single crochet, and double crochet.
Materials needed:
This pattern is written so that you have the option to choose from several different weights of yarn! Here are the amounts of yarn and crochet hook size needed based on weight:
- Sport / Fine / Weight 2: ~390 m / 426 yds // ~130 g
Hook: 3.5 mm
- DK / Light / Weight 3: ~400 m / 437 yds // 174 g
Hook: 3.75 mm
- Worsted / Medium / Weight 4: ~ 400 m / 437 yds // 200 g
Hook: 4.5 mm
- Bulky / Chunky / Weight 5: ~300 m / 328yds // ~200 g
Hook: 6.5 mm
Also needed: Locking/removable stitch markers, a tape measure, scissors, and a tapestry/darning needle.
You're more than welcome to bring your own yarn! If you plan on buying yarn at the shop to use for the pattern, please make sure to arrive 15-20 minutes before the event begins so we can help you choose materials.

Class & Event Policies
Cancellations
We are happy to offer you a refund or store credit for any event sign up as long as you give us notice at least 48 hours before the start time of the event.
Because this is a fundraiser event, we cannot offer refunds or store credit for any late cancellations, as the ticket sales are going directly to the organization we're fundraising for.
Photography
When you attend any event at our shop you agree to be recorded and photographed during the class. If you would like to request that your face, hands, or body not be in any photos or videos that we share on social media please send an email requesting so any time prior to the start time of the class to hello@cleosyarnshop.com. You may still be recorded or photographed during the class but we will respect your request that the videos or images of you not be shared online.
