Tuesday, August 25th, 6–8 PM: Eraserhead (1977)
Come to Cleo's and watch the late and great David Lynch's Eraserhead (1977) while you work on your latest WIP in celebration of the launch of Savannah Rose Handmade's yarns at Cleo's Yarn Shop!
David Lynch's first feature film (and the inspo for some of our favorite new Savanah Rose Handmade colorways) follows new father Henry Spencer as he attempts to survive his industrial environment, his angry girlfriend, and the unbearable screams of his newly born mutant child.
We will keep the lights dimmed but not dark, so folks can craft while they watch. We suggest bringing a simple project to work on, and a personal head/neck light if you want to be able to see your project well.
The shop will be open for quiet shopping while the movie is playing. Please arrive early for a good seat & to order a drink from our cafe. Each ticket includes $5 off your first drink!
We have some couch seats, some chairs at tables, and some free-standing chairs. Feel free to bring your own snacks!

Come to Cleo's and watch Carrie (1976) while you work on your latest WIP (your handmade Halloween costume, maybe!)
Adapted from Stephen King's 1974 novel, the movie follows a shy, awkward high schooler who develops the power of telekinesis and uses it to punish her bullies. Expect 70's prom dresses, mean girls, and literal buckets of blood. The runtime is 1 hour and 38 minutes.

Class Policies
Cancellations
We are happy to offer you a refund or store credit for any event sign up as long as you give us notice at least 48 hours before the start time of the first session.
In order to pay our teachers for their time & effort, we cannot offer refunds or store credit for any late cancellations. However, if the situation was out of your control and you want to come to another class instead, we can sign you up for a future class using our Scholarship Fund which is available to everyone (read more about our Scholarship Fund below).
Many of our classes have a minimum number of sign ups required to run. If a class doesn't get the required number of sign ups to run and we decide to cancel or post-pone the class we will notify those who did sign up via email between 24–48 hours before the class's start time and offer them a seat in the next class, a refund, or store credit.
Photography
When you attend any event at our shop you agree to be recorded and photographed during the class. If you would like to request that your face, hands, or body not be in any photos or videos that we share on social media please send an email requesting so any time prior to the start time of the class to hello@cleosyarnshop.com. You may still be recorded or photographed during the class but we will respect your request that the videos or images of you not be shared online.
