Super Bulky Ribbed Collar No. 1 Knitting Pattern

This ribbed collar with an I-core tie is simultaneously the quickest and warmest knit you'll make all year! It's worked flat from the top, down with increases to make the bottom flare.

TECHNIQUES USED
casting on, knitting, purling, make one increases (both knitwise and purlwise), binding off in pattern, weaving in ends, making an I-cord.

YARN
37 (43, 49) yards of super bulky weight yarn for the collar

10–20 grams of fingering, sport, DK, or worsted weight yarn for the I-cord tie

NEEDLES
US 17 / 12 mm circulars or long straights for the collar, and two smaller double pointed needles to match I-cord yarn for tie.
