Learn how to weave a small tapestry in this fun one day workshop! Guest teacher Jessie is going to go over making a small tapestry from start to finish. Jessie and the shop will be providing all the materials you need, including a fun selection of colorful and textured yarns to weave with!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
How to warp a small cardboard loom, create fringe with rya knots, weaving shapes with tabby weave and soumak, finishing the weaving, attaching your tapestry to a stick or dowel.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
None! You don't need any craft experience to take this class.

INCLUDED MATERIALS
Cardboard loom, warp string, lots of fun weaving yarns in various sizes, colors, and textures. Scissors, darning needles, and yarn will all be available to use during the workshop.

The shop also has all the above tools & materials available for purchase if you want to continue weaving at home!
