This classic knit hat allows for a variety of custom choices to make the hat your own. Knit flat from the bottom up, you can choose to include a folded brim before constructing the body of the hat.
This pattern includes instructions for a solid color hat, or one with 1, 3, or 5 stripes! You will construct one piece utilizing knit two together (k2tog) decreases. Finally you will seam the hat together with the mattress stitch to create a finished piece!
SKILL LEVEL
Absolute Beginner: Even though technically this pattern includes a technique (k2tog, a simple decrease) that qualifies it for an "Advanced Beginner" label, I've had dozens of absolute beginners start with this pattern as their first ever project and complete it successfully!
