Learn to knit and make a chunky hat in this easy workshop for beginners! All the materials you need (yarn + knitting needles) are included in the workshop. These big hats are a great first project: super easy to make and they work up so fast! You don't need any experience to take this class.
You will get started on your hat in class then finish it at home at your own pace. We will demo how to finish your hat at the end of class. If you'd like help finishing your hat when you get there you are welcome to stop back in the shop for some help, or sign up for Open Studio.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The long tail cast on, joining to work in the round, the knit stitch, finishing the top of a hat, and weaving in ends. Optional: simple decreasing/knit two together (k2tog).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
None! You don't need any knitting experience to take this class. Must be 9 years or older.
MATERIALS & TOOLS INCLUDED - $63 value!
All the supplies you need are included in this class! You will get a big ball of chunky yarn (Merino No. 5) and a set of mango wood US 19 circular knitting needles that you will take home with you.

Cancellations
We are happy to offer you a refund or store credit for any class sign up as long as you give us notice at least 48 hours before the start time of the class.
Many of our classes have a minimum number of sign ups required to run. If a class doesn't get the required number of sign ups to run and we decide to cancel or post-pone the class we will notify those who did sign up via email between 24–48 hours before the class's start time and offer them a seat in the next class, a refund, or store credit.
Wait Lists
If a class is full we are happy to add you to the wait list in case someone cancels. Send an email with the name of the class (and the date, if there is more than one date for the class) to hello@cleosyarnshop.com to be added.
Photography
When you attend a class at our shop you agree to be recorded and photographed during the class. If you would like to request that your face, hands, or body not be in any photos or videos that we share on social media please send an email requesting so any time prior to the start time of the class to hello@cleosyarnshop.com. You may still be recorded or photographed during the class but we will respect your request that the videos or images of you not be shared online.
