Event Structure
Our Make-Alongs & Craft Circles are lightly guided group events where everyone is making a similar project. Attendees must feel confident making their project mostly on their own. A host will be present to answer questions & offer some help. For more in-depth instruction, book a class with Cleo here!
Sundays, August 23, 30, September 6 & 13, 11am - 1pm
If you've been contemplating trying out your hand at colorwork knitting, this is your sign!! Join us for one or all four sessions of this Colorwork Craft Circle and enjoy a lightly guided, relaxing Sunday morning craft session! Bring your own colorwork pattern to start or continue working on, or choose one of the suggested patterns below!
Each ticket includes $5 off your first drink at our cafe!
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
You should already feel comfortable casting on, purling, knitting, binding off, and picking up stitches.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS
We recommend consulting the pattern you've choose for the weight of yarn recommended. Non-superwash, animal fiber, rustic style yarns are the best for colorwork as the natural tooth of a rustic yarn will allow the stitches to hold their structure and place more clearly, allowing for clearer designs. We recommend choosing a pattern that uses sport weight yarn or thicker.
Need help picking out materials? Come by 15–20 minutes before each session and we’ll help point you in the right direction!
PATTERN IDEAS
Some of these are not our patterns, so please purchase/download them on your own if you're interested in making any of these projects!
CRAFT CIRCLE STRUCTURE
This craft circle will be hosted by Zuri. While this is primarily a social craft circle, Zuri will be present to answer questions and offer light guidance.
