Happy Hour Takeover: Charitable Hat Making!
Friday, December 5, 5–8 PM
Please join us for a Happy Hour Takeover organized by our friend and neighbor Kate Koumbaros where we'll be donating our time and talents in service to a wonderful cause – knitting and crocheting warm winter hats and scarves for distribution to those in need in our community!
Bulky weight yarn and basic patterns will be provided, all you need to bring are knitting needles or crochet hooks in sizes 9–10 mm (and of course, we'll have those for sale here as always, if you don't already have one on hand!)
Finished items do not need to be completed during the event. They should be dropped back off here at the shop by Saturday, December 13th.
All those with even a bit of basic knitting and crochet experience are welcome to join! Please note there will not be an instructor present, but if you do need some help one of your fellow crafters can often lend a hand if you ask nicely :)
TO RSVP: select the December 5th date on our Happy Hour page. You can use code RISEBORO when signing up to get a free ticket, but if you opt to pay for your ticket all ticket proceeds from the evening will be donated to our shop's Scholarship Fund!

When you attend an event at our shop you agree to be recorded and photographed during the event. If you would like to request that your face, hands, or body not be in any photos or videos that we share on social media please send an email requesting so any time prior to the start of the event to hello@cleosyarnshop.com. You may still be recorded or photographed during the event but we will respect your request that the videos or images of you not be shared online.
