This Granny ain't no square! Join us for this fun one-day workshop where we'll learn to make Floral Granny Squares, a great next step up for those who've mastered the standard square block. (Sign up to take our class for that one here!)

A perennial favorite of crocheters as far back as the late 19th century, granny squares have been made in infinite permutations and design styles over the centuries. This version of the floral square, designed by Cleo especially for this class, is funky, chunky, and 3-dimensional, with a blooming motif that pops out of the block's center. Master the basics, and in two hours you'll leave with a whole bouquet!

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
To take this class you must already be familiar with how to make a classic granny square. Take our regular granny square class first if you don't already know how to make these fun motifs! Knowing triple/treble crochet is also helpful but not required.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN 
Starting a granny square with a magic circle, making triple crochet petals and how to make them three-dimensional, converting a circular shape into a square, joining granny squares together.

You can use a variety of yarns to make these granny squares. Come a bit early to class and we can help you pick out the right kind and amount for what you want to make!
