Cleo wrote this vest pattern while they were in college! We have plans to update the pattern to include more sizes and a made to measure version, so check back soon for updates.
The blue & white vest photographed was modified for a larger gauge:
- We used worsted weight yarn throughout (Amano Turay in "Cotton" and "Lilac," to be exact), holding only one strand for the front panels and one strand in a different for the back
- We used size US 7 / 4.5 mm needles throughout
- We knit the smallest size (32" bust)
- We cast on 11 less stitches than instructed for both front pieces (you may want to do more or less for a different size)
- We bound off 3 less stitches than instructed for each armhole (you may want to do more or less for a different size)
- We cable-cast on 8 less stitches than instructed for each armhole (you may want to do more or less for a different size)
