It's the most wonderful time of the year – the NYC Yarn Crawl, the biggest yarn-centric event in the five boroughs, is back for another fantastic weekend spent celebrating friends, fibercraft, and the wonderful and diverse NYC fiber arts community! Cleo's is proud to be a part of this special weekend for another year.
What is the NYC Yarn Crawl?
The NYC Yarn Crawl is an annual fall extravaganza where knitters, crocheters, spinners, dyers and fiber craft lovers of all kinds visit as many Manhattan and Brooklyn's finest local yarn shops as they can to celebrate our community and love of fiber arts. There will be events & specials at each shop, and it's a great time to wear your most favorite or impressive piece that you've made!
How does the crawl work?
It's like a bar crawl, but for the yarn-obsessed! Visit participating shops across the city during the weekend of September 26-28th to take part in an assortment of fun activities, special drawings, deals and community events.
Checking in at each shop enters you in for raffles to win various prizes. If you visit all of the shops you get entered in to win the grand prize, which includes several special goodies from our sponsors & a large gift card to the shop of your choice!

In Support of Palestine!
As you may know, for every yarn crawl (both the Brooklyn crawl each spring and the NYC crawl in the fall) instead of doing a 10% discount for all shoppers like other shops do, we opt to use this busy weekend to donate 10% of our sales to mutual aid organizations! This fall we will continue in our ongoing support of Palestine and send 10% of sales to Gaza Mutual Aid Solidarity, an organization that was introduced to us by the founders of the @SolidarityCrochetCircle which met weekly in our shop this past spring and summer.

When you attend an event at our shop you agree to be recorded and photographed during the event. If you would like to request that your face, hands, or body not be in any photos or videos that we share on social media please send an email requesting so any time prior to the start of the event to hello@cleosyarnshop.com. You may still be recorded or photographed during the event but we will respect your request that the videos or images of you not be shared online.
