Join us in our shop starting at 1 pm on Friday for 20% off all bulky and super bulky yarns! The sale will be in store only until we close at 8 pm, THEN it will be active for online shoppers until the next morning when we open again!

Note: not all the bulky yarns we carry are available on our website! Some are only available in our shop!

Online sale hours:

Drop off handmade new, finished, unworn scarves, blankets, socks, and hand-warmers / gloves for newly diagnosed cancer patients at the Stamford Health Bennett Cancer Center via our donation box!

Yarn Swap Fundraiser Night

Is your yarn stash getting out of hand? Here’s your chance to de-stash, exchange for new supplies, and socialize with your fellow crafters, all while giving back.

100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to UNICEF to aid recovery and relief for children in Palestine. Tickets for this event include a $5 credit on a drink at the cafe, entry to the yarn swap, and one ticket for a raffle to win a $100 gift card to our shop!

This event is organized in collaboration between Cleo’s and the Manhattan Fiber Artists group.

We do our rewards program a bit differently: we like to reward creativity & community over money spent! Plus we LOVE to see what y'all are making with our yarn.

Submit your finished projects with yarn from the shop via our online form to earn a gold star on your Project Punch Card for every 200 yards in the project.

Earn an extra star when you tag us in photos of your finished projects @cleosyarnshop on instagram or tiktok.

We keep track of it all and award you store credit for each 5 stars you earn!

Our Scholarship Fund

We are pretty big on community over here. (You can read more about the values Cleo has built the shop on here.) One of the ways we support our community is through our Scholarship Fund!

Our Scholarship Fund is contributed to by the shop and our community to help those who need it attend our classes and events.

When signing up for a class or event, anyone is welcome to request a Scholarship Fund ticket at a partial or full discount. You can read more or contribute to our fund by clicking the button below!

Little Free Library of Yarn & Craft Supplies

In addition to our Scholarship Fund, our shop also has a shelf dedicated to 100% free yarn and craft supplies.

This library, like our Scholarship Fund, is contributed to by the shop and our community!

Anyone is welcome to donate and take home any of the yarn and supplies on the shelf.

If you would like to donate supplies, please read over our guidelines before bringing them to the shop.
