Our Make-Alongs & Craft Circles are lightly guided group events where everyone is making a similar project. Attendees must feel confident making their project mostly on their own. A host will be present to answer questions & offer some help. For more in-depth instruction, book a class with Cleo here!
Experiment with every kind of granny square imaginable in this monthly motif workshop! This workshop is great those who are new to crochet, but are comfortable with the slipknot, chain, and single crochet, and are looking to learn the next step!
Explore classic, intricate, and floral granny squares with guidance in this sliding-scale class (and enjoy $5 off your first drink from the cafe while you crochet)!
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE-
You should be comfortable with the slipknot, chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet.
MATERIALS-
You can bring your own yarn and hooks or we can help you pick materials! We recommend using DK weight yarn or thicker, but the fiber content is up to you!
PATTERN-
A wide variety of granny square patterns will be provided, however you are also welcome to bring your own!
WORKSHOP STRUCTURE
This workshop will be hosted by Jae. While this is primarily a social work shop, Jae will be present to answer questions, help pick materials, and offer guidance.

Class & Event Policies
Photography
When you attend any event at our shop you agree to be recorded and photographed during the event. If you would like to request that your face, hands, or body not be in any photos or videos that we share on social media please send an email requesting so any time prior to the start time of the class to hello@cleosyarnshop.com. You may still be recorded or photographed during the class but we will respect your request that the videos or images of you not be shared online.
Cancellations
We are happy to offer you a refund or store credit for any event sign up as long as you give us notice at least 48 hours before the start time of the first session.
In order to pay our hosts & teachers for their time & effort, we cannot offer refunds or store credit for any late cancellations. However, if the situation was out of your control and you want to come to another class instead, we can sign you up for a future class using our Scholarship Fund which is available to everyone (read more about our Scholarship Fund below).
Many of our classes have a minimum number of sign ups required to run. If a class doesn't get the required number of sign ups to run and we decide to cancel or post-pone the class we will notify those who did sign up via email between 24–48 hours before the class's start time and offer them a seat in the next class, a refund, or store credit.
